The West’s Detachment from Its Identity Core and the crushing counter-attack of the Brahmins! What particularly deserves our attention, reflection and careful analysis is the question of where the Europeans of the 17th century — just as they began to dominate nations with long histories and deep traditions — drew their racist conviction of natural superiority. Let us stay with India for a moment (without extending the discussion to China or elsewhere). This racist outlook reached the absurd extreme of proposing their own (imported) religion to peoples such as the Indians — a people from whom some of the most profound religious quests and sophisticated spiritual systems in human history had already emerged (far beyond Hinduism alone).In India, the distinct Brahmin caste had for centuries carefully preserved and cultivated the Hindu tradition…

The fact that Hinduism itself contains a nationalist dimension — an affirmation of a unique, age-old spiritual way of life inherent to the Indian — never once sounded an alarm in their self-satisfied ears. Indian philosophy is, and is rightly considered, extremely ancient. In Europe, after the long and destructive Middle Ages, people had the good fortune, during the Renaissance, to rediscover Greek philosophy and the ancient Greek way of life. They absorbed elements that form the very core of European civilization: democracy, theatre, athletic contests, philosophy, science, architecture, poetry, mathematics, music, sculpture, cosmology, reasoned thought, and much else. For this is, of course, the true CORE of Western European civilization: Greek philosophy and the Greek way of life — especially that of the classical city-state, later enriched by the Hellenistic period and the lasting influence it exerted on the Pax Romana. Religion, by contrast, has always been the particular strength of the East. In India the search for religious experience is taken to its outermost limits.The well-known story of Alexander the Great and the mystic Kalanos — and the genuine respect the conqueror showed him — is revealing in this regard.

It never crossed the colonial mind that this ancient philosophical, religious and ultimately national tradition might one day strike back. And the counter-attack proved so subtle, so refined, that it went almost entirely unnoticed… They failed to grasp what has been unfolding in the West over the past century in the deepest layers of our perception of life — a transformation that has reached the very marrow of Western consciousness.

Beyond even the shift in the sense of individuality, it concerns the very way we interpret experience itself.This profound change has now irreversibly reshaped the Western mentality, producing ideological confusion, a confused mixture of ideas, and, ultimately, decline. Η αποστασιοποίηση της Δύσης από τον ταυτοτικό της πυρήνα. Αυτό που είναι άξιο ιδιαίτερης προσοχής, σκέψης και ... ανάλυσης, είναι Η ΑΠΟΡΙΑ από που, οι Ευρωπαίοι του 17ου αιώνα που ξεκινούσαν να κυριαρχούν σε έθνη με μακραίωνη ιστορία & παραδώσεις, αντλούσαν την ρατσιστική αντίληψη της ... φυσικής τους ανωτερότητας. Για να μείνουμε στην Ινδία (και μην πάμε στην Κίνα και αλλού). Μία ρατσιστική αντίληψη που έφτανε μέχρι του ανοϊκού σημείου να προτείνουν την -εισαγόμενη σε αυτούς - θρησκεία (τους), σε λαούς όπως οι ... Ινδοί, από όπου προήλθαν σημαντικότατες θρησκευτικές αναζητήσεις και θρησκευτικά συστήματα (πέραν και του ινδουισμού). Οπου η ξεχωριστή τάξη (κάστα) των βραχμάνων για αιώνες διαφυλάττει την καλλιέργεια του ινδουισμού... Το ότι ο ινδουισμός ενέχει εθνικιστική πλευρά ως κατάφαση ενός μοναδικού μακραίωνου σύμφυτου στον Ινδό, πνευματικού τρόπου ζωής, δεν χτύπησε το καμπανάκι για το αυτάρεσκο αυτάκι.

Η ινδική φιλοσοφία θεωρείται (και είναι) αρχαιότατη. Στην Ευρώπη, μετά τον παρατεταμένο και καταστροφικό μεσαίωνα, είχαν την τύχη να έρθουν σε επικοινωνία με την Ελληνική Φιλοσοφία και τον Αρχαίο Ελληνικό τρόπο ζωής την εποχή της Αναγέννησης, ενσωματώνοντας στοιχεία που αποτελούν τον πυρήνα του Ευρωπαϊκού πολιτισμού (Δημοκρατία, Θέατρο, Αθλητικοί Αγώνες, φιλοσοφία, επιστήμη, αρχιτεκτονική, ποίηση, μαθηματικά, μουσική, γλυπτική, κοσμολογία, ορθός λόγος κοκ). Γιατί βέβαια αυτός είναι ο ΠΥΡΗΝΑΣ του Ευρωπαϊκού Δυτικού Πολιτισμού: η Ελληνική Φιλοσοφία και ο Ελληνικός Τρόπος Ζωής ιδίως της Πόλης Κράτους αλλά και μετέπειτα των ελληνιστικών χρόνων και της επιρροής που άσκησαν στην PAX ROMANA. H θρησκεία είναι μάλλον το δυνατό σημείο της Ανατολής! Στην Ινδία, που η αναζήτηση της θρησκευτικής εμπειρίας φτάνει στα άκρα! Γνωστή η ιστορία του μύστη Μεγάλου Αλεξάνδρου και του Κάλανου και του σεβασμού με τον οποίο τον αντιμετώπισε.

Δεν πέρασε ποτέ από το αποικιοκρατικό ... μυαλό τους, ότι αυτή η αρχαία φιλοσοφική, θρησκευτική, εθνική εν τέλει, παράδοση, θα αντεπιτίθονταν. Και η αντεπίθεση ήταν τόσο λεπτεπίλεπτη που ούτε καν έγινε αντιληπτή ...

Δεν κατάλαβαν τίποτα από τα όσα συνέβησαν στην Δύση τον τελευταίο αιώνα στον τομέα της αντίληψης για τη ζωή που φτάνει μέχρι το δυτικό μεδούλι: πέραν και αυτής της αλλαγής στο επίπεδο της ατομικότητας, στην αναζήτηση της ερμηνείας της εμπειρίας. Βαθιά αλλαγή που έχει διαμορφώσει, πλέον ΑΝΑΠΟΤΡΕΠΤΑ, την Δυτική νοοτροπία και την ιδεολογική σύγχυση (αχταρμά) και τελικά παρακμή. Την αποστασιοποίηση από τον ταυτοτικό πυρήνα ...
