Will anyone tell us what is going on with the farmer protests in the Netherlands? SUMMARY: Will anyone tell us what is going on with the farmer protests in the Netherlands? Since it is obvious that this is not about “environmental” policy, then what is it? Is it a violent capitalist restructuring within the framework of intensifying global competition?

The Netherlands is one of the main suppliers of agricultural and especially livestock products in the EU. By contrast, why are the “news” bulletins filled with isolated violent incidents from around the world, creating a climate of insecurity? The August 2026 protests in the Netherlands focus on plans to revoke permits for poultry farms and further cuts in nitrogen emissions (stikstof), with hundreds of tractors on motorways. On 15 August 2026 a HUGE night-time gathering of illuminated tractors with flags and banners took place, highlighting the ongoing tensions between the EU’s “environmental” policy versus the livelihood of farmers and the fate of “traditional” crops (agricultural – livestock). Since it is obvious that this is not about “environmental” policy, then what is it? It is certainly a violent capitalist restructuring within the framework of intensifying global competition. After the failure of globalisation and green growth — whose ideologies ultimately BENEFITED THE COMPETITORS of the Western oligopolies, who, trained by neo-colonialism, ran the WEF programmes … faster — now the following is probably being chosen: Violent restructuring of agricultural production with its COMPLETE handover to MULTINATIONAL GIANTS and a total change in the “traditional” “energy-intensive” (and not FULLY controlled) dietary habits of “Europeans” (as well as habits of consumption, energy, transport, etc.), Digital currency FOR EVERYTHING WITH CONTROLLED OUTLETS and periodic demonisations of them by targeting the clever ones who think they are escaping, so that 100% of economic activity can be controlled (in reality they both provide a service and will be punished exemplarily so that the right message is given), TOTAL SURVEILLANCE, restriction of public discourse within the permitted limits plus of course the classics “Green” energy, “privatisation” of anything that is in the public domain (forests, seas, beaches, water, etc.), private war economy and industry (funded by the public sector), monopolisation of “entertainment”, survival allowances, private prisons and home surveillance systems, forced labour (either as a form of complementary punishment or reintegration), reduction of labour and other social rights (cheap, unregulated, disciplined labour especially in the “European periphery” – Southern Europe, Eastern Europe). In other words, the transformation of the entire European model up to now of which we were so proud (labour rights, welfare state, environmental sensitivity, human rights, etc.)?

Difficult times require difficult decisions BUT will the “Europeans” submit? will what emerges be worth the sacrifices?
