China: The Dual Goal of Internal & External Harmony and Peace “of the Enlightened People’s Republic”.

China is achieving — after the industrial and technological revolution and energy security through hard work, plus yet another unintentional gift from the West: Russia’s decoupling from the #US–#EU — its ambitious plan for alternative energy sources. This vast laboratory of innovation, planning, and hard work is also achieving food security and self-sufficiency, both by converting barren land into arable land and through scientific cultivation supported by plant breeder’s rights, biotechnology, know-how, and so on. Thus, #China is now becoming a pole of development and prosperity that is almost autonomous from external dependencies. It follows the ancient Confucian model of the self-sufficient Kingdom that contains within itself everything essential, ensuring a harmonious and peaceful life for its citizens and the state — in contrast to the disharmonious and perpetually turbulent Outer World (at the level of the individual, society, and states alike). A harmonious network of interstate relations in its periphery, structured as a broader harmonious family, completes the “system.” In this framework, China simultaneously plays the role of the good Mother and the good Father: the one who enlightens, and who serves as the source of assistance, reference, and dependence necessary for the harmonious survival of the satellite states of the wider family. When this network is completed — built methodically on the foundation of the Father’s self-sufficiency, which enables him to nourish, enlighten, and organize the broader network — then the Southeast Asian region will have its undisputed and enlightened Hegemon. The qualitative difference in capabilities offered by the New China will be so great that it will inevitably become a necessary source of attraction for the states of Southeast Asia’s periphery, pushing India and Japan further toward the peripheries of… the periphery. Clearly, this dual goal completes the Internal and External Harmony and Peace “of the Enlightened Kingdom” (or People’s Republic, if you prefer) — a Kingdom that contains everything within itself.
